David was a gentle giant - and a very good friend to me in high school.  I will always be grateful that I knew him.

(This is a memory that I may not have completely correct - but I do know that we won the game.  One of the football Jolly Red Giants can explain it better) .........I remember when we were playing Midland High our senior year.  Before the game he told me to really be watching - there would be a special play.  He wasn't a receiver - but there was a play close to the goal line that he caught the pass.  We won the game!  He was excited!!

It is sad to know that he was living in Cleburne - when we were just down the road in Granbury.  Prayers for his family and friends.
