ODESSA - Myron Ann "Nubbin" Gibson, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Odessa, TX surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, in Odessa, TX with David Burton officiating.

Myron "Nubbin" was born in Odessa, TX to John W. "Bud" Cravens and Wilma Louise Cravens on Saturday, January 18, 1947. She graduated with honors from Odessa High School in 1965. She then married Michael Gibson and they were blessed with their daughter, Leah Michelle in 1971. They divorced years later, but continued to be the best parents, grandparents, and great friends throughout the years. She was a hard worker. She was a secretary for many years, then she had a cleaning service with one of her best friends for years. Also, she worked as a nanny to a wonderful family. She then went to work at Medical Center Hospital in the Medical Records Department for several years until she retired.

She was known as the sweetest person ever. Everyone who met and knew her would say that she was the most loving, caring, compassionate, and giving woman. She always saw the beauty in everything. She had the best personality. There was not a selfish bone in her body. She always put everyone's needs before her own. People gravitated to her. She was a great listener. You could talk to her about anything. She was so comforting.

She loved her babies, her daughter, Leah, her grandson, Ryan, and her granddaughter, Myka were her whole world. She was the greatest Mom and Mimi! To be loved by her, you definitely knew you were loved. She touched so many lives and she will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved her.

Nubbin is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, John W. "Bud" Cravens and her mother Wilma Louise Cravens Garton, her step father Charles Garton and her son-in-law Dwayne High.

Nubbin is survived by her daughter Leah Michelle High, her grandson Ryan Layne High and her granddaughter Myka Renee High, Aunt Dorothy (Dot) Dellinger, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many life-long true friends.

The family of Myron Ann "Nubbin" Gibson wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Madison Medical Resort and Hospice of West Texas for the great care they provided. We would also like to thank all our friends for the many prayers and well wishes sent our way.
