His father passed away in 2009 and he has Henry Wayne listed as being deceased.   Verified by SSAN records, buried in Houston National Cemetery.  He had served in the U.S. Army from 1967 until 1970 and then re-enlisted in 1971 and served until 1978. 

HENRY W. GREER, 60, passed away on February 23, 2008. Henry graduated from Odessa Senior High school in 1965, attended Forth Worth College, and joined our United States Army in 1967. He is survived by his loving wife, Be Greer, 3 daughters, Lisa, Tu Van, Paula, 3 son in-laws, Chris Puhl, Joseph Vlosich III, Ryan Flores, his father, Henry G. Greer, and his granddaughter, Hannah Puhl. Henry will be deeply missed by his loving friends and family. A visitation for Henry will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 5-9 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
