ODESSA - Marion Wade Gunter Jr., 72, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday August 26, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 4pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Hood officiating.

Marion Wade Gunter Jr. was born to Marion and Helen Gunter on May 17, 1945 in Sweetwater, Texas. Marion served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marion and Helen Gunter.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine Gunter, son's Wade Gunter III, David Gunter, daughter Linda Gunter, step-son's Carl Heisler, Marshall David Heisler, step-daughter Penny Renee Fanguy, numerous grand and great grandchildren whom he loved very much.
