Mary Lyons Summers

Graduated from Texas Christian University in 1969 with B.S. degree in Speech Pathology. Married Ed Summers in July 1970, and moved to Albany, GA. After Ed was discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps, we moved back to Texas. I taught school for 8 years and received my M.Ed. in Counseling from Sam Houston State Univ. before starting our family in 1977. For 5 years, beginning in 1993, I was on the staff of The Woodlands United Methodist Church as the Director of Christian Education. After we moved back to Houston from The Woodlands, I got my Real Estate license and began a career in residential real estate, which I have enjoyed for the last 11 years. Ed and I have two grandchildren, one in Los Angeles and one in Dallas. We enjoy traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe whenever we have the chance.
