Ronnie lived just around the corner from me and we went all the way through Alamo, Bowie, and OHS  together.  Ronnie and I were pretty close for many yeats, the Neyers even took me on vacation with them to Big Bend and Ronnie and I had a great time.  I looked up to Ronnie for his maturity and brilliant mind.  I'm not surprised that he became a Navy Commander, teacher, and engineer.  Way to go, Ronnie!!

When Ronnie ate dinner at our house on Fridays, Mom always cooked fish. Mom explained to me that catholics eat fish on Fridays (we were Protestant) and I thought that was cool! Ronnie told me a lot about his Catholicism and this engendered a life-long interest in the subject which led me to convert to catholicism later in life.

Rest in peace Ronnie. Thanks for the memories.

Jack Davis

PS  The Neyers were a fantastic family!  Never could beat Ronnie at chess.
