1947 - 2016 Obituary Condolences

TOWNSEND, Thomas (Tommy) A. Thomas (Tommy) A. Townsend passed away Sunday January 31, 2016 after a courageous 6 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Tommy was born August 2, 1947 in Shreveport LA, later moving to Odessa TX then to Garland. Tommy was the owner of T.A. Townsend and Associates Insurance LLC for more than 30 years. Tommy is survived by his wife of 44 years Sondra, brother John P. Townsend (Yvonne) of Pensacola FL, sister Carol Stahl (Jack) of Albuquerque NM, brother in law Ed Horn (Deborah Armstrong) of Plano TX, Marlene Brandolini of Haverhill MA, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services will be held Friday February 5, 2016 at 10:00 am, New World United Methodist Church, 5134 Northwest Hwy, Garland TX 75043. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the charity of your choosing, New World UMC or research for Multiple Myeloma.
