Judy Delores Wilkerson (Sanders)

Judy Wilkerson Sanders, age 74 of Arlington, Texas passed away on November 9, 2020. She was born on November 9, 1946 in Odessa, Texas, the daughter of Clifton Wilkerson and Gladys Whisenhunt Wilkerson. Judy married Dennis Sanders on July 15, 1977 and they celebrated 43 years together.

Judy was a graduate of Odessa High School and then relocated to Arlington. Judy worked for Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages for many years and later achieved one of her goals of becoming a real estate agent. As a real estate agent, she worked for Herman Boswell, Century 21, and Ebby Halliday Realtors retiring from Ebby in 2009. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed sewing and quilting, fashion and shopping, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, listening to Michael Buble, and spending time with her cat, Miss Oreo. Her greatest time was that spent with her grandchildren, family and friends, all of who will miss her dearly.

Judy is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughters Seree Plumlee and Julie Butticarlo and husband Philip; son Brad Sanders and Viviann; grandchildren Haley Butticarlo, Taylor Plumlee, Brittain Sanders, and Cash Sanders; sisters Kathy Lehew and husband Olin; Janie Kemp and husband Mike; brother Randy Wilkerson and wife Ann; sister-in-law, Beverly Wilkerson; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronnie Wilkerson.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, November 17 at the First Methodist Church, Mansfield. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s name to the American Heart Association.

Billy Mac Brown

Judy passed away on her 74th birthday.  May she rest in peace.  Her older brother Ronnie passed away earlier this year as well.  I had known Judy since our days in junior high and at OHS in the band.  She was a very likeable person.
