Terry was the second member of the Class of 1965 to pass away.  He had been suffering from headaches since he first started OHS.  He had attended Texas Tech his first year after high school, but his illness continued and he transferred back to Odessa College.  On August 20, 1967, he was driving near his home when he lost consciousness and struck a tree.  He was hospitalized at Odessa Medical Center in ICU until September 6, 1967 when he experienced a brain hemorragh and passed away.  He was laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Garden's Cemetery in Odessa.  Terry was a brilliant young man and really had a future.
